Three Minute Thesis at QUB School of Law

The School of Law recently held its first-ever Three-Minute Thesis competition. The judging panel comprised a group of first year PhD students and the School's PhD coordinator, Professor Thérèse Murphy. The brave competitors were second and third year PhD students, each of whom had just three minutes in which to explain their research project and why it was important. Written and oral feedback was given to all competitors, and we benefited from the competitors' reflections on how best to prepare for the competition, including how to cope with feeling both nervous and rushed!

Congratulations to Gift Sotonye-Frank who was named winner of this year's competition.
